Letters: Letter: Roman Room With a View. To the Editor: Your reporter, Oliver Schwaner-Albright, missed the true experience in his “Check In/Check Out: Rome Cavalieri” (Nov. 2) by not staying in a room with a city view . There is nothing in the world comparable to opening the shades in the morning with all of Rome bathed in sunlight at one’s feet.

To the Editor: Seth Kugel’s Weekend in New York column “Sheltering Under Grand Central’s Ceiling of Stars” (Nov. 16) mentions people-watching as the supreme pastime, but fails to mention the second-best way to while away time at Grand Central: the New York Transit Museum (www.mta.info/mta/museum/whatsnew.htm).
